it's getting better all the time...

So there's a guy I was helping today that said he couldn't burn a CD, while I had his computer and was looking at other things, I checked out the drive which is a DVD drive. I double checked the computer mangement to see how it was loaded and yeah, it's just a DVD drive. So when I finished with the other things I was doing, I asked him if the cd burner was external, he said no it's on the laptop...I double check the drive and look at it while I'm speaking with him and tell him it only says it's a DVD drive. He tells me, well it says CD on it too, which it does to say that it can also read CD's. He says, oh, well how do I get a burner since that one only does half of what I need...man that cracked me up.
Also the print server in the Edina building took a header today, it started going down for the count Friday, but finally croaked today. Everyone is calling in tickets about it, we keep explainging it to them that it's the whole building that's effected, not just them, but they call in the tickets anyway...fucking people...

I dunno, I guess I kinda find the details of that to be a more private issue, but when people feel the need to share, generally I'll listen cause why not. But there are very few people that I'll go into detail with, I dunno, maybe I'm weird. It doesn't seem like it's anything that needs to be kept secret, but maybe that's why I like to only share with a few individuals, to make it more...special? who knows. In no way do I think the topic of sex needs to be a hush-hush subject and I personally feel that one of the tell-tale signs that a relationship is ready for that step is if both people can have a regular conversation about the topic. Maybe that opinion is why I like to not talk about it openly, cause I don't want to just bang any woman I see, I have to be in love with them before I'm comfortable having sex with a woman...actually, it's more about afterwards, if I have no feelings or very few, I feel just dirty afterwards. So of course, then I try to make a relationship with them, which is one of the worst ideas ever. Glad that hasn't happened all that often. Um...yeah, so...
